Genesis

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Garha came into the existence [under Civil Sector] during the academic session 2007-08 in the premises of the Rani Durgawati Kanya Shala Parisar, Garha, Jabalpur. At present, KV Garha is running in a temporary accommodation provided by the Sponsoring authority i.e DM & Collector Jabalpur Distt. At Premises of Adiwasi Kanya Chhatrawas and Rani Durgawati Girls Higher Secondary School, Ganga Nagar, Garha Jabalpurinitially this Vidyalaya was started from Class I to V with one section each. From the session 2008-09, Vidyalaya upgraded upto Class-X (Single Section). The present strength of the students is approx. 435 with 19 Staff Members. It excels in all fields and fulfills all the parameters of education. The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education,Govt. of India, New Delhi
